Richard is an award winning international photographer who lives and hosts his gallery in Parry Sound, Ontario. His formal training was in photojournalism and those roots guide him to look for the unique elements that best capture the story of a particular moment or scene. 

Growing up in Sault Ste. Marie, he developed a love of the incredible beauty of Lake Superior. That fascination has carried forward to today with his images of the mystic allure of Georgian Bay. Although he has travelled extensively and enjoyed capturing the beauty of many countries, his love of the waters and islands of Georgian Bay always bring him back to the area to record and share his favourite images and stories.
