I’ve always been a fan of MC Esher’s work. The way he plays with the real and surreal is amazing. Using repeating patterns and fooling the eye with the aid of mathematics.
 
“Screaming Swirl” is my homage to Escher’s genius after many hours of studying this master’s work. Screaming Swirl was displayed at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) for an exhibit named “Portraits of Resilience” a collection of work the reflect individual experiences during Covid isolation.
