Koi
Stunning photograph of an orange koi contrasting beautifully off of dark water. A koi fish swims just below the water’s surface. Walking through the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton I was crossing a bridge when I looked down and was surprised by the greeting of this beautiful koi fish. In Chinese and Japanese koi traditionally symbolize many admirable qualities. Because of their ability to swim up current they often represent courage, ambition, perseverance and more.
Archival print of a photograph. Print on fine art paper.
