BIJAN ZAMANI

IMG_6791_edited.jpg

Bijan’s artistic journey began at the age of seven. After high school, he spent six years earning his master’s degree in architectural and interior architectural design from the University of Art in Tehran, Iran.

For Bijan, painting is not a chosen profession; it is a necessity, like breathing. He believes an artist must be a constant observer of form and light, looking at everything around them while considering the beauty and majesty of objects and people. Furthermore, he believes an artist’s responsibility is to bring contemplation and interpretation into their work, revealing the darker aspects of the world that suffer from the absence of humanity. Through his art, he strives to inspire evolution and the pursuit of a better place.

Bijan has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions at contemporary museums of art and professional art galleries. After several years of working as an artist and designer in Vienna and Paris, his artistic journey eventually led him to Canada in 1995, where he chose to live and work.

Bijan is a self-taught professional freelance artist specializing in art, architectural design, and interior architectural design. He is currently based in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
