Who is behind Savvy Art?

Karen Mayer, Artist and creative with a passion for living the healthiest life.

Karen founded SavvyArt Market in 2010 after an epiphany at work, directing her to pursue a healthier bigger life.

Her passion for art was reignited with renewed focus on creativity. She began a wonderful journey with artists, followers, and buyers, building a community of aesthetes, providing support and art education.

Continuing on that journey, in 2020, Karen developed self-education courses (how to buy art, building a gallery wall, plan for art when renovating), and created a beautiful Ebook, The Language of Art: A Primer, plus she began a passion project called ArtSpa, art-based workshops designed to reconnect people with their innate creativity. The workshops are for individuals and corporations interested in team-building events for their teams centred around embracing your innate creativity for a richer life.

August 20, 2024 Karen is expecting the launch of her chapter in a collaborative book, called The Ripple Effect Of Impact (Action Takers Publishing). The authors contributing to this book are located all around the world. Links to the book and sales page coming SOON.

Karen enjoys an active life with family and friends, travel adventures, hiking in nature, and downhill skiing. She resides with family in Oakville, ON Canada.
